OLLI Collegiate Classic Tournament

On February 25, 2017, join hundreds of fans from across the nation for a special event honoring The University of Alabama’s Adapted Athletics program. Help cheer on the men’s and women’s wheelchair basketball teams starting at 5:30 p.m. at Foster Auditorium. Admission is free! 

OLLI Collegiate Classic Tournament

The University of Alabama Adapted Athletics program in partnership with OLLI at UA  presents the 2017 OLLI Collegiate Classic on February 24-25. This years highly competitive tournament brings teams from all across the country to compete in this weekend long tournament leading up to the main event on Saturday, February 25th at 5:30 p.m. at Foster Auditorium.

The University of Alabama Adapted Athletics 

The core mission of Alabama Adapted Athletics is to provide students with disabilities on campus competitive high-performance athletic opportunities proportionate to other non-disabled student athletes. 

The secondary missions of Adapted Athletics are as follows:

  • To provide disability sport related practical experiences for students in various academic majors on campus.
  • To provide outreach and service for persons with disabilities in the local community and worldwide with active participation form our students and staff.
  • To collaborate with other units on campus to increase recreational sport opportunities for students with disabilities.
  • To provide collaborative research opportunities for students and faculty across campus.



OLLI is The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at The University of Alabama. OLLI membership is open to all who enjoy learning, making new friends, taking field trips and traveling near and far.
